Take a step back in time and pay close
attention to the murals painted in the Children's Room by Louis
Norton in 1930. The artists' gift to the children of Kennebunkport
is a wonderful depiction of classic rhymes and fairy tales. This
collection is the only one of its kind in the entire country.
How To Get a Card
Any child ages 0-14 may apply for a Library Card as long as they
have a parent or guardian present to sign the Application card.
Audios, Videos, and DVDs and Magazines
Over 13,000 board books, chapter books, picture books, fiction,
non-fiction, biographies, reference, young adult, and high school.
Classics and current titles are available for check out. If patrons
cannot find what they are looking for, we offer Interlibrary Loan
services at no charge. Muse, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Odyssey,
Cobblestone, Kids Discover, Zoobooks, Homeschooling & Cicada
are some of the magazines that can be read and borrowed from the
Library. If there is a particular article needed, we can always
help you look it up on MARVEL!
Crafts
Special workshops are designed and offered throughout the year.
