Magical Murals: Louis Norton’s Gift to the Children of Kennebunkport

Kennebunkport artist, Louis Norton, was well-known in the early 1900s for creating fanciful murals. The Library is very fortunate to feature a series of murals in the Children’s Room painted by the artist in 1930. Mr. Norton’s gift to the children of Kennebunkport is a wonderful depiction of classic rhymes and fairy tales and is the only collection of its kind in the entire country. You can own your very own copy of Louis Norton’s Magical Murals put together in picture book format for $5.00.

This book is generously underwritten by Biddeford Savings Bank. All Proceeds Benefit Graves Library.
